Durán‑Sindreu has strengthened its Tax Compliance department with the appointment of Pedro Villar Algaba as a new Partner. Pedro brings more than 20 years of experience in providing tax and accounting advice to companies, offering comprehensive support in managing their tax, accounting, and corporate obligations at both national and international levels. 

Pedro’s appointment aligns with Durán‑Sindreu’s growth strategy for the coming years, which focuses on expanding key client‑oriented areas, integrating highly specialized talent, and strengthening practices that play a critical role in business management and decision‑making.

Pedro is a Chartered Economist and holds degrees in Economic Sciences and Political Science. He has built a solid career in the field of tax compliance, advising companies on tax planning, regulatory compliance, the preparation and review of tax filings, and accounting management.

He has also advised numerous companies in outsourcing processes, helping optimize costs by externalizing functions such as accounting and administrative management, as well as human resources administration—allowing organizations to focus on their core business.

Alongside his professional career, Pedro is a member of the Permanent Committee of the Tax Experts Commission at the College of Economists of Catalonia (CEC), where he is one of the coordinators of the Tax Debates section and actively contributes to the analysis and dissemination of current tax developments.
