Jordi is a lawyer and partner in the Industrial and Intellectual Property and Unfair Competition practice area at Durán-Sindreu.
He graduated in Law from the University of Barcelona and, after an initial period dedicated to commercial law, soon focused his professional practice on industrial and intellectual property, unfair competition, image rights, and related matters.
Jordi mainly advises clients on trademarks, designs, and intellectual property, having gained extensive experience in the planning, coordination, and implementation of strategies for protecting intangible assets, from their registration through to their enforcement before the courts.
He is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB). He is also a member of ALAI (International Literary and Artistic Association).
He served as Chairman of the Competition and Industrial Property Law Section of the ICAB and currently serves as a member of its board. He regularly participates as a speaker in courses, conferences, and seminars on these subjects (at ICAB, Elisava School of Design and Engineering in Barcelona, and the University of Barcelona – UB).
Since 2018, he has been an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Barcelona, where he teaches the course “Competition Law and Industrial Property”.
