Jordi is a lawyer and a partner in the Industrial and Intellectual Property and Unfair Competition area of Durán-Sindreu.
He graduated in Law from the University of Barcelona and after an initial period dedicated to commercial law, he soon focused his professional activity on Industrial and Intellectual Property, unfair competition, image rights and related matters.
Jordi is primarily dedicated to advising on trademarks, designs and intellectual property, having acquired extensive experience in the planning, coordination and execution of strategies for protecting intangible assets, from their registration to their defense in court.
He is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB). He is a member of ALAI (International Literary and Artistic Association).
He has been President of the Competition Law and Industrial Property Section of the ICAB and regularly participates as a speaker in courses, conferences and seminars on the subject (for example at the ICAB, Elisava University School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona and the University of Barcelona UB).
Since 2018 he has been an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Barcelona, where he teaches the subject of “Competition Law and Industrial Property”.
